  • So... there is no 20% but... if you get 20% you can proceed. This is hogs wash plain and simple. You get access to the next level, you study the next level and you can (if you actually have the ability - which is unlikely) pass the next level. It sounds like a pass to me. What is the objection to a partial pass - where the pupil takes maths all over again, but can so long study other subjects at a higher level? If the resulting delay in schooling is too long, then I would suggest doubling up the maths lessons and actually attending both grades simultaneously. Not an actual pas...err I mean condonation!
